Seeking the first dedicated engineer for a new content monetization platform for creators, launching in Summer 2026. You will be involved from the ground up, shaping the architecture and technology stack for a product aiming to compete with major services on price.
Must-haves
- 3+ years of web application development experience using TypeScript
- Frontend development experience with React-based frameworks
- Backend design and development experience with RDBs (e.g., PostgreSQL)
- Experience in a business company or experience building your own product
Nice-to-haves
- Development experience with payment/billing systems
- Development experience with modern TypeScript stacks
- Experience launching a product in the 0 to 1 phase
- Development experience with Ruby on Rails / React Native (Expo)
- Development experience utilizing AI agents (e.g., Claude Code)

Work style

Hourly wage: ¥4,500 - ¥7,000 (upper limit negotiable based on experience/skills). Contract employee. No trial period (initial contract 1-3 months).
