hacomono is seeking a Platform Engineer to build and evolve their platform architecture as they expand into multi-products and refresh their data infrastructure. This role involves constructing, operating, and improving core systems, Kubernetes platforms, and potentially leading architectural strategy.
Must-haves
- Experience building/operating cloud infrastructure using IaC (e.g., Terraform)
- Experience operating mission-critical products with large traffic
- Experience operating/improving Kubernetes platforms (e.g., EKS, ArgoCD)
- Backend application development experience
- System design/operation experience using cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Architecture design/performance tuning experience in large-scale, high-traffic environments
- Knowledge of distributed systems using microservices and containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience building/operating CI/CD pipelines
- Development experience and code review experience in multiple languages (e.g., Java, Go, Python, Node.js)
Nice-to-haves
- Experience building platforms supporting multi-products using Kubernetes
- Backend development experience in multi-tenant SaaS
- Experience building/operating Auth0
- SRE experience (e.g., observability)
- Deep understanding/experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD)

Work style
Onsite in Tokyo (Jingumae, Shibuya-ku) with flexible working hours (core timeなし, 5:00-22:00 flexible time). Average 20-30 hours of overtime per month.
Other notes
Annual salary: ¥8,000,000 - ¥15,000,000. Bonus twice a year. Includes social insurance, transportation allowance, remote work allowance (¥5,000/month), and support for training/certifications.
