MonotaRO is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join their newly established Analytics Engineering Group. This role will focus on designing, building, and operating data products and platforms to support data-driven decision-making across the company. The goal is to foster a self-distributed data management system that empowers all employees to utilize data with confidence.
Must-haves
- Experience developing systems using programming languages
- Strong interest in data management
- Experience using cloud data warehouses (RedShift, BigQuery, Snowflake, etc.) and BI tools
- Interest in changing organizational mechanisms
Nice-to-haves
- Experience operating cloud data warehouses
- Experience building and operating data warehouses and BI tools
- Experience using Looker or dbt
- Experience improving business operations using data analysis, machine learning, or generative AI
- Knowledge of and interest in distributed data management concepts like data mesh or scaled architecture
- Experience proactively communicating and solving problems within an organization
