Shellfy is seeking an SRE Engineer to enhance the reliability, availability, and scalability of their Greenfile.work service. You will collaborate with product teams to manage all aspects of SRE, contributing to the company's mission of supporting society through technology.
Must-haves
- Experience developing and operating commercial services using public cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Experience operating web applications or web services
- Understanding of foundational web service technologies (Linux, networking, databases, HTTP)
- Experience managing infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code
- Experience in team development using Git
Nice-to-haves
- Experience designing and operating Kubernetes/Amazon EKS
- Experience operating services using Amazon ECS
- Practical experience with IaC tools like AWS CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation
- Experience building/improving observability platforms with tools like Datadog
- Experience designing and operating SLI/SLO/Error Budgets
- Experience improving performance of large-scale web services

Work style
Flex-time with core hours (11:00-17:00). Location: Tokyo (Meguro-ku). Remote work is possible after initial hiring.

Salary: 5,820,000 - 8,940,000 JPY/year. Includes 45 hours of fixed overtime per month. Relocation bonus for living within 3km of the office (20,000-40,000 JPY/month).
