We are seeking an Engineering Manager for our Backend team to lead the rapid growth of our social EC platform. You will be responsible for scaling the organization, enhancing our EC infrastructure, and driving AI Native development. This role involves both technical strategy and team management.
Must-haves
- 3+ years of backend development and operations experience (excluding PoCs or internal services).
- Experience in tech leadership, team building, and process improvement.
- Backend development experience in at least one of the following languages: Go, Ruby, PHP, Java, Python, Typescript, Scala, Kotlin, Dart.
- Ability to take ownership and drive software development.
- Advanced Japanese communication skills (JLPT N1 or equivalent).
Nice-to-haves
- Experience managing engineering teams.
- Experience in architecture design and technology selection.
- Development and operations experience with Go and Google Cloud.
- Frontend or mobile app development experience, or PM experience.
