We are seeking a Senior Engineer to join our team and contribute to the DX of food distribution through our order/shipment platform, 'Cross Order'. You will be responsible for architectural design, technology selection, and solving complex technical challenges for a rapidly growing service used by 1/5 of restaurants nationwide.
Must-haves
- Experience setting and solving technical challenges for products.
- Experience leading a team technically in team development.
- 3+ years of full-time development experience at a company with its own service (not contract development).
- 5+ years of web application development experience.
- Experience making technology selection decisions based on comparing multiple options and their pros/cons.
Nice-to-haves
- Development experience with scripting languages like Python, Ruby, TypeScript.
- Experience developing B2B products with admin panels.
- Experience establishing or improving CI/CD.
- Experience leading development efficiency improvements using AI.
- Experience developing/operating services handling large-scale data (millions to tens of millions of records).
- Experience with MySQL database design and tuning.
- Experience leading large-scale refactoring of infrastructure layers (framework migration, database consolidation).
- Habit of conducting technical investigations and making decisions based on primary sources (official documentation, source code, etc.).

Full remote with flexible working hours (core time: Monday 10:00-15:00).

Salary: Monthly 583,000 JPY - 1,250,000 JPY (Annual 7,000,000 JPY - 15,000,000 JPY). Average overtime 10-20 hours/month.
