Seeking an Engineering Manager for the continuously growing product 'Bill One', a service that solves challenges in various business areas like invoice reception, expense processing, and accounts receivable management. As the user base, functional requirements, and organizational structure rapidly expand, you will be involved in all processes to deliver product value quickly and with high quality.
Must-haves
- Lead-level practical experience in a specific technical area (backend/frontend/infrastructure/database)
- Experience designing, developing, and operating web applications (including public cloud, database design/performance optimization, microservices architecture)
- Agile development (Scrum, etc.) experience
- Knowledge of the software lifecycle including QA and security
- Practical experience in people management (setting engineer goals, 1on1s, development, evaluation)
- Development lead experience in a team of 5 or more engineers
Nice-to-haves
- Project management or product management experience
- Agile or Scrum team management experience
- Experience developing engineers (teaching, coaching, feedback)
- Experience leading improvements in development team productivity or processes
- Experience in recruitment, evaluation, and development within a development organization
- Advanced design and operation experience using public cloud (GCP, AWS, Azure, etc.)
- Experience negotiating and coordinating with business departments (product managers, etc.) to lead consensus on development resources, schedules, and priorities

Work style
Flex-time with core hours 10:00-16:00 (standard 8 hours/day). Offices located in Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, and Fukuoka. Indoor smoking prohibited.
Other notes
Salary range: ¥795,000 - ¥1,971,000 per month (Annual salary ¥11,520,000 - ¥29,170,000). Includes 35 hours of overtime allowance per month. Probationary period: 6 months.
