Seeking a Technical Lead/Architect for the continuously growing product 'Bill One', an accounting AX service that solves challenges in various business areas like invoice reception, expense processing, and accounts receivable management. You will be involved in all processes to deliver product value quickly and with high quality.
Must-haves
- 7+ years of experience in web application design, development, and operation
- Backend development experience using statically-typed languages (Java, Kotlin, Go, TypeScript, C#)
- Experience in all processes from requirements definition to operation
- System architecture design or non-functional requirements (performance, availability, scalability) design experience
- RDB design, operation, and performance tuning experience
- Application design and operation experience using public cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Knowledge of microservices architecture
- Understanding of modern cloud design (IaC, cloud design patterns)
- Technical lead or project lead experience in a team of 5+ engineers
- Experience using AI in development flows (coding, design, code review)
Nice-to-haves
- Development experience with modern technologies (Kotlin, Go, TypeScript, React)
- Development and operation experience with large-scale, high-traffic web services
- Microservices/distributed systems/event-driven design and implementation experience
- Advanced development and operation experience in public cloud
- SRE/DevOps practices
- Experience promoting infrastructure improvements (refactoring, re-architecting)

Work style
Hybrid. Offices in Tokyo (Shibuya), Osaka, Aichi, Fukuoka, Kyoto. Full flex time with core hours 10:00-16:00. Standard 8-hour workday. Overtime: average 20 hours/month.

Salary range: Monthly 795,000 JPY - 1,971,000 JPY. Annual 11,520,000 JPY - 29,170,000 JPY. Includes 35 hours of overtime allowance. 6-month probation period. Company provides transportation allowance.
