Pixiv is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to manage and operate mission-critical ad delivery infrastructure. This role involves working with a high-volume ad request system (100 billion requests/month) and ensuring low latency, reliability, and efficient log management. You will be part of a specialized ad operations team, collaborating with engineers and business staff to treat Pixiv's advertising as a single product.
Must-haves
- Experience building and operating Kubernetes or similar system environments.
- Experience managing and operating public clouds (Google Cloud, AWS, etc.) at an organizational level.
- Ability to take ownership and responsibility for infrastructure reliability, availability, and maintainability.
- Ability to identify operational issues independently and propose solutions.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience operating Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Kustomize, etc.).
- Experience operating monitoring systems (Datadog, etc.).
- Ability to keep up with the latest infrastructure topics.
