We are seeking an R&D Engineer to design and develop core intellectual processing for our Causal Inference AI SaaS product. This role involves translating research in causal inference, statistics, and machine learning into practical product features, algorithms, and intellectual property.
Must-haves
- Practical experience in algorithm development, data analysis, and machine learning model development using Python.
- Fundamental understanding of statistics, machine learning, and mathematical modeling.
- Experience designing analytical logic and evaluation metrics based on product requirements.
- Experience translating academic papers and technical literature into practical algorithm specifications.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience collaborating with engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to translate technical complexities into product specifications.
- Knowledge/experience in causal inference, causal discovery, causal effect estimation, and structural equation modeling.
- Experience designing algorithms for recommendation, ranking, scoring, and decision support.
- Experience designing and developing analytical support features using LLMs / AI agents.
- Experience in productizing algorithm features for B2B SaaS or business support products.
- Experience with production-ready implementation including exception handling, log design, testing, and performance improvement.
