We are seeking a Product Engineer to join our team, focusing on our Causal Inference AI SaaS product. This role involves understanding customer needs and business hypotheses to design and implement product features. You will initially work as a developer, with the future potential to grow into a Product Owner role, taking ownership of requirements, prioritization, and development planning.
Must-haves
- 3+ years of experience in web application development
- Development experience using frameworks in JavaScript (Vue/React/Express), Java (Spring Boot), or Python (FastAPI)
- Experience in multiple development areas including frontend, backend, API, and DB design
- Experience translating product requirements into implementation specifications
- Experience with team development, code reviews, and Git
- Comfortable with development communication in English
- Proactive in using AI development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, Devin) to enhance productivity
Nice-to-haves
- Experience developing B2B SaaS or business support products
- Experience in requirements definition and prioritization as a Product Owner, PdM, or Tech Lead
- Experience designing and implementing product features based on customer requests and sales/CS input
- Basic knowledge of statistics, machine learning, data analysis, experimental design, or A/B testing
- Experience developing AI/LLM/AI agent-based product features
- Experience working with offshore teams or international engineers

Annual salary range: 6,000,000 - 10,000,000 JPY. Stock option system available.
