Job Overview
NHN Techorus is one of Japan's leading companies, holding the highest-tier AWS Partner certification. In this position, leveraging this strength, you will lead both technical aspects and team members from customer proposals through to construction and operation.
Job Responsibilities
* Cloud Architecture Design and Proposal
Directly interview customers to understand their business challenges and requirements, and design/propose optimal system configurations on AWS. Present cloud architectures aligned with best practices, leading the resolution of issues and creation of value through cloud utilization.
* Project Technical Lead and Construction Promotion
After project acquisition, act as the technical leader for the project, guiding the entire construction phase of the designed cloud infrastructure. As needed, manage progress as a Project Manager (PM) or Project Leader (PL), promoting the construction of the AWS environment in collaboration with other teams.
* Environment Construction and IaC Implementation
Based on the design, provision and manage the configuration of the cloud environment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation. Build the foundation, including network, security, and IAM, as well as middleware and CI/CD, with the team, and personally handle key tasks to ensure quality and reproducibility.
* Technical Support and Consulting (Operations Phase)
After system release, continuously support the customer's cloud environment through our managed services. Respond to technical inquiries from customers, perform troubleshooting, and support stable operations. Also, engage in consulting activities such as proposing improvements to existing environments and considering the application of the latest cloud technologies. For example, identify potential issues based on AWS Well-Architected Reviews and propose solutions for cost optimization and performance improvement. This position is expected to contribute to maximizing the value of cloud utilization as a technical advisor to customers.
▼Required Skills/Experience
* AWS Solutions Architect Professional (SAP) certification holder
* 3+ years of experience in AWS design and construction
* 3+ years of experience in operations and maintenance, primarily in incident response, troubleshooting, and operational design
* Customer negotiation experience, including direct requirements definition and proposal experience with clients
* Project management experience, including practical experience in schedule and risk management
▼Preferred Skills/Experience
* Presales experience
* Experience in designing, constructing, operating, and maintaining large-scale systems
* Experience in developing and mentoring team members
▼Ideal Candidate Profile
* Multitasking ability (concurrent handling of multiple projects)
We are looking for individuals who can manage multiple projects simultaneously and appropriately prioritize them. Those who have the execution capability to grasp the progress of each project within limited time, optimize resource allocation, and maintain quality. We welcome individuals who can calmly assess situations during emergencies and respond flexibly while minimizing impact on other projects.
* Autonomous problem-solving ability
We are looking for individuals who, when faced with challenges, can gather and analyze information independently, formulate and execute solutions, rather than waiting for instructions. Those who can try multifaceted approaches without giving up when encountering technical hurdles and derive optimal solutions by leveraging internal and external resources as needed. We welcome individuals with high growth motivation who are not afraid to take on challenges, learn from them, and apply that learning to future endeavors.
* Emphasis on teamwork and active knowledge sharing
We are looking for individuals who value the success of the entire team, not just individual achievements, and who foster collaboration among members. Those who can generously share their acquired technical knowledge and know-how and actively engage in mentoring junior members.
▼Job Appeal
* Technical capabilities recognized by both cloud vendors
Our company holds the highest-tier partner certifications from both AWS and Google Cloud, and Solution Architects can work with these strong technical capabilities as a background. We have numerous certified cloud professionals, and advanced knowledge is accumulated internally. This is an environment where you can be involved in cutting-edge cloud projects, grow as a cloud architect yourself, and challenge yourself in leadership positions.
* Involvement in all phases leading to a high sense of accomplishment
Since you can be involved consistently from presales to design, construction, operational support, and improvement proposals, you can see through to the end the moment your proposed solution takes shape and creates customer value. There is dynamism and reward in supporting business transformation through cloud adoption by directly engaging with customers of various industries and scales.
* Balance of work satisfaction and work-life balance
We promote a balanced work style with a standard working day of 7.5 hours and an average of about 15 hours of overtime, making it an environment where work-life balance is easy to achieve.
