Tebiki is seeking Engineering Managers to lead the development organization for their manufacturing industry SaaS products, "tebiki現場教育" and "tebiki現場分析". You will be responsible for leading the "tebiki現場分析" equipment maintenance team, driving product strategy execution, expanding the engineering organization, and improving development throughput.
Must-haves
- 5+ years of web application or SaaS product development experience
- Experience leading a team as an Engineering Manager, Tech Lead, or similar role
- Experience with engineer goal setting, performance reviews, feedback, and 1-on-1s
- Experience in technical decision-making affecting the entire product (e.g., architecture, technology selection)
- Experience with Agile or Scrum
- Full professional proficiency in Japanese
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with engineer recruitment, team expansion, and organizational development
- Development experience with React/TypeScript or Ruby on Rails
- Experience designing and operating GraphQL APIs
- Experience developing enterprise applications (multi-tenancy, permission design, etc.)
- Experience with non-functional requirements like performance tuning and load testing
- Experience integrating AI coding agents into team development
- Experience developing with big data

Work style
Hybrid: 4 days remote per week allowed (on-site required for Scrum events). Location: Tokyo, Japan.
