This role is for an Engineering Manager Candidate to join a rapidly growing cybersecurity vendor. You will be responsible for team and development management, technical leadership, and recruitment to enhance the company's security services and achieve its vision of creating a secure cyberspace globally.
Must-haves
- 3+ years of web application development experience
- Team development experience (reviews, design discussions, task decomposition, prioritization)
- Engineering lead experience (Tech Lead, Lead, Sub-Lead, Project Lead, etc.)
- Experience in Agile development (Scrum, etc.) or promoting improvements in an Agile environment
- Communication skills to organize progress, issues, and risks, and drive consensus
- Strong interest in member development and team building
Nice-to-haves
- People management experience (1on1s, performance reviews, training, goal setting)
- Experience promoting projects across multiple teams or functions
- Experience designing, developing, and operating cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud)
- Interest in the security domain (WAF/WAAP, authentication/authorization, vulnerability response)
- Experience in incident response and operational improvement
- Experience in building/operating CI/CD and designing test strategies
- Experience in recruitment activities

Work style
Hybrid work (3 days office, 2 days remote per week). Office located at JR Tokyu Meguro Building 13F, 3-1-1 Kami-Osaki, Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo 141-0021. Flextime system (no core hours, 7:00-21:30).

Annual salary: 8,000,000 - 15,000,000 JPY. Probationary period: 3 months.
