Kaushe is seeking its first dedicated Data Engineer to design and build the data platform for their discovery EC app, 'Kaushe'. This role will be responsible for the entire data engineering lifecycle, from clarifying data utilization needs to pipeline design, construction, BI tool setup, and operational maintenance.
Must-haves
- Experience in designing, building, maintaining, and operating data platforms.
- Data modeling experience and advanced SQL construction skills.
- Ability to define and implement non-functional requirements for data platforms.
- Experience with Dataform, dbt, BigQuery.
- Software development experience using Github, Terraform, CI/CD, and programming languages.
- Japanese language proficiency (JLPT N1 or higher) is required for advanced communication.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience building and operating ML platforms.
- Advanced data analysis experience as an analyst.
- Software development experience as a backend engineer.
- Tech lead or engineering management experience.
