Kauche is seeking their first full-time Data Engineer to build and manage their data infrastructure for their social commerce app, which has over 7 million downloads. You will be responsible for the entire data engineering lifecycle, from pipeline design and construction to BI tool setup and maintenance, supporting data-driven decision-making across the company.
Must-haves
- Experience designing, building, maintaining, and operating data infrastructure
- Data modeling experience and advanced SQL skills
- Ability to define and implement non-functional requirements for data infrastructure
- Experience with Dataform, dbt, BigQuery
- Software development experience using Github, Terraform, CI/CD, and programming languages
- Japanese language proficiency (JLPT N1 or higher)
Nice-to-haves
- Experience building and operating ML infrastructure
- Advanced data analysis experience as an analyst
- Software development experience as a backend engineer
- Tech lead or engineering management experience
