WHI is seeking engineers to design and implement LLM/RAG platforms for their large-scale HR SaaS product, "COMPANY". This role involves core logic implementation and expanding technical responsibility across the company within 6-12 months. The position focuses on technical leadership rather than people management.
Must-haves
- Experience developing web applications (language agnostic)
- Experience developing systems using cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
- Experience leading the design and improvement of non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, security)
- Experience proposing and driving technical decisions in development teams of several people
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with zero-to-one startup of API or web application infrastructure from scratch
- Backend development experience requiring high performance using Go, TypeScript, Python, or Java
- Experience integrating LLM characteristics, API specifications, and vector search technologies into actual products
- Experience documenting technical selection backgrounds (ADR/RFC) and fostering this culture within a team

Work style
Hybrid (approx. 10-20% onsite). Core business hours with flextime. Location: Tokyo (Toranomon Hills Station Tower). Remote work is the primary style.
Other notes
Annual salary range: 8,000,000 JPY - 12,000,000 JPY. Bonus twice a year (March, September). Probationary period: 6 months.
