Seeking Backend Engineers to support the global expansion of AI restaurant reservation service "AutoReserve" and "Respo" All-in-One Restaurant Cloud. You will be responsible for backend development, ensuring stable operation, and implementing new features for rapidly growing products used by millions globally.
Must-haves
- Over 5 years of practical experience in backend development (design, implementation, operation)
- Experience with AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex) for code generation
- Ability to perform schema design, query optimization, and index strategies
- Ability to implement reliable systems considering error handling, retries, and idempotency
- Ability to formulate phased improvement strategies for existing code/designs
- Ability to judge design trade-offs from technical and business perspectives
- Ability to proactively drive requirements definition, technology selection, and design
Nice-to-haves
- Production development experience with Ruby on Rails
- Development/operation experience for services with millions of monthly users
- Design/implementation experience for global products (multi-language, multi-currency, time zone)
- Cloud infrastructure operation experience with GCP/AWS
- Practical experience with IaC (Terraform)
- Experience in performance tuning for large-scale data
- English communication skills

Work style
Hybrid: Employees are required to come to the office 3 days a week, unless residing outside Tokyo, Saitama, Chiba, or Kanagawa prefectures. Location: Tokyo, Japan.
Other notes
Salary: ¥600,000 - (monthly), ¥7.2 Million - ¥30.0 Million (annual). No bonus. Probationary period: 3 months.
