Marui Group is seeking a Tech Lead to promote a microservice architecture for their large-scale fintech services, which handle an annual transaction value of 4.9 trillion JPY. You will be instrumental in migrating from a monolithic system to a microservice architecture, focusing on backend development and API design for customer-facing fintech services.
Must-haves
- 5+ years of backend development experience in web services
- Experience in designing and developing new features
- Experience in architectural design and technical decision-making
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with large-scale or highly complex systems
- System tuning including performance optimization
- Experience in financial/FinTech web system development and design
- Knowledge of ID management, authentication protocols, security, and privacy
- Deep knowledge and experience with Serverside Kotlin, Go, React, JavaScript (Node.js), or other backend languages/frameworks
- Experience mentoring junior engineers
