Marui Group's retail division is seeking a Data Analyst/BI professional to support their business growth through data utilization. You will be responsible for developing and operating data analysis environments, identifying business challenges, and proposing improvements based on data insights.
Must-haves
- Practical experience using SQL for data extraction, aggregation, and analysis (e.g., JOIN, GROUP BY, UNION, subqueries, window functions).
- Experience designing, building, and operating dashboards using BI tools like AWS QuickSight or Tableau.
- Experience identifying issues, planning measures, and improving operations based on data analysis results.
- Experience designing and managing KPIs and supporting business improvement/decision-making based on KPIs.
- Experience using Excel and PowerPoint.
- Business-level Japanese language proficiency.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with data analysis and machine learning model building/implementation using Python (pandas, scikit-learn, etc.).
- Experience designing/building data warehouses or data marts, and data modeling.
- Experience supporting business strategy/planning or decision-making based on data analysis in a business company.
- Experience improving/automating operations using Python, AI, Power Automate, etc.
- Interest in anime, entertainment, or content business, or knowledge/experience in event/merchandise sales.

Salary range: ¥6,759,333 - ¥11,770,700 per year. Employment type to be determined through consultation (Full-time, Fixed-term, or Contract).
