Chura Data is seeking a mid-level Web Application Engineer to support client data utilization and generative AI initiatives. You will be involved in the full lifecycle of web development, from requirements definition and design to construction and operation, proposing optimal technology selections for each project.
Must-haves
- 3+ years of web development programming experience
- Web development programming experience within the last year (work or personal)
- Experience using a web application framework (e.g., Ruby on Rails, FastAPI, Express, Spring Framework, Laravel)
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript
- Knowledge of web application authentication and security
- Knowledge of RDBMS table design
- Ability to build a web application development environment using Docker
- Experience with automated testing
- Ability to host web applications on cloud IaaS (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Experience in a management or lead role in web development projects
Nice-to-haves
- Experience using Virtual DOM libraries (e.g., React, Vue)
- Ability to build web frontend development environments (e.g., Vite)
- Programming experience using TypeScript
- Experience using UI frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, MUI, Ant Design)
- Development experience using Hotwire
- Experience using IaC (e.g., Terraform, Cloudformation)
- Ability to build CI/CD pipelines

Other notes
Annual salary: ¥5,500,000 - ¥10,000,000. Includes a fixed overtime allowance for 44 hours per month. Specialized professional discretion labor system (deemed working time of 10 hours per day).
