ChuraData is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design and develop applications and systems incorporating generative AI and machine learning. The role involves leading architecture design, LLMOps infrastructure, and pre-sales/project management, working in a flat, project-based organization.
Must-haves
- Experience in architecture design and lead for RAG/AI Agent/Multi-Agent systems
- Experience designing and building LLMOps/MLOps infrastructure (e.g., Promptfoo, Langfuse)
- Development/construction experience on cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks)
- 1+ year of practical experience in MLOps or LLMOps design, development, and operation
- Model development/implementation experience using major ML/DL frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn)
- Project lead experience
- Business-level Japanese communication skills
Nice-to-haves
- Experience designing/building on enterprise AI platforms like Snowflake Cortex, Databricks Mosaic AI Agent Framework
- Experience with multi-agent architecture centered on MCP, A2A, Function Calling
- Experience in R&D or foundation model training projects
- Experience writing papers, patent applications, OSS contributions, or presenting at tech communities
- Experience building generative AI use cases on large-scale data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery)
- Proposal and PM experience in contract development (generative AI/ML domain)
- Experience designing production operation infrastructure using Terraform, GitHub Actions, Kubeflow
- Ability to read English technical documents

Work style
Nationwide remote work is possible within Japan. Relocation to Okinawa is welcome. Some business trips may be required.

Annual salary: ¥9,000,000 - ¥16,000,000. Probationary period of 3 months with no change in conditions.
