Openlogi is seeking a dedicated Backend Engineer to modernize core systems. This role focuses on upgrading languages, frameworks, execution environments, and dependencies to ensure system stability and security. You will lead initiatives from investigation to production deployment, significantly impacting the company's overall development velocity.
Must-haves
- Experience leading major version upgrades of web application languages/frameworks from planning to production.
- Experience modifying or refactoring long-term operated codebases while ensuring safety with tests and static analysis.
- Experience designing and improving CI/CD workflows.
- Experience updating dependency libraries and responding to vulnerabilities (CVEs).
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with PHP/Laravel development and version upgrades.
- Experience establishing repository foundations like coding standards and linters/formatters.
- Experience designing, operating, and renovating job queue or asynchronous processing systems.
- Experience migrating from virtual server environments (like EC2) to container environments (ECS, Kubernetes, etc.).
- Experience designing zero-downtime deployments or deployment strategies (Blue-Green, Canary releases, etc.).
