LocationMind, a deep tech startup spun out of the University of Tokyo, is seeking a specialized Security Engineer. The role involves leading the development and operation of robust security governance and advanced technical measures, crucial for the company's expansion and potential IPO.
Must-haves
- Practical experience in security design, construction, and operation in cloud environments, primarily AWS, within a business company.
- Knowledge of web application vulnerability assessment and practical experience in countermeasures.
- Broad IT and security knowledge spanning networks, OS, middleware, and application layers.
- Communication skills to logically organize complex issues and solutions, and explain them clearly to technical members and other departments.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience leading the creation or revision of security-related regulations from scratch.
- Practical experience in operating standards like ISO27001 (ISMS) and handling audits.
- Experience conducting penetration tests or red team exercises against proprietary services.
- Experience integrating security testing into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps).
- Basic English communication skills for technical discussions with multinational team members.
