ZERO is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to design engines and turbopumps. The role involves planning development tests, designing components, analyzing test data, and improving designs based on test and manufacturing feedback. The goal is to develop generalists in the engine and turbopump field.
Must-haves
- Practical experience in mechanical design using 3D CAD
- Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Fundamental knowledge of the four mechanics and drafting
- Ability to communicate smoothly in Japanese (Business level or higher)
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in development, design, and evaluation of mechanical systems at the ASSY level
- Experience in development, design, and evaluation of high-pressure fluid systems and cryogenic fluid systems
- Experience in development, design, and evaluation of rotating machinery
- Experience explaining to internal and external stakeholders

Partial remote work possible. Flextime system (no core time). Location: Obihiro Branch, Hokkaido.

Annual Salary: 5,000,000 JPY - 9,020,000 JPY. Includes 45 hours of fixed overtime allowance.
