This role is for the first dedicated Security Engineer, responsible for enhancing the security quality of products, infrastructure, and internal IT. You will handle practical tasks like vulnerability management, design support, and audits, promoting DevSecOps and security operations.
Must-haves
- 2-3 years of practical experience in security, or security involvement as an SRE/Infrastructure professional.
- Experience in vulnerability assessment and management (OWASP/CVE).
- Experience implementing scripts and automation (Python/Go/Shell).
- Practical experience using AI tools (Claude/ChatGPT/Gemini) and coding agents.
- Business-level Japanese proficiency.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with cloud security (AWS Security Hub/GuardDuty/CloudTrail).
- Experience in security log integration with monitoring platforms or alert operations.
- Experience building or preparing for SOC2 compliance or external audit responses.
- Experience reading English documents and communicating in English.

Work style
Hybrid (remote and in-office), with weekly in-office attendance recommended. Work locations: Tokyo or Osaka.
Other notes
Salary: ¥6,000,000 - ¥8,040,000 per year. Includes fixed overtime allowance (45 hours). Annual salary system paid in 12 installments. Commuting allowance paid according to company regulations.
