Turing is developing a fully autonomous driving system. This role involves addressing software issues across multiple layers, from ML pipelines and optimization to sensor calibration and vehicle control, to advance model development and accuracy.
Must-haves
- Experience with system development in robotics, autonomous driving, or similar domains OR middleware and control software development (device drivers, etc.)
- Japanese language proficiency (JLPT N2 or equivalent)
Nice-to-haves
- Experience contributing to complex multi-component systems
- Experience with in-vehicle embedded application development
- Experience working with sensors (cameras, GNSS, etc.)
- Implementation and optimization of model-based control (MPC, etc.)
- Experience developing motion simulation models / simulators
- Knowledge of vehicle motion control and vehicle dynamics
Work style
Onsite in Heiwajima Office, Tokyo. Flextime system with core hours 10:00-15:00.

Salary ranges from ¥7,000,000 to ¥20,000,000+ annually depending on engineer level (Engineer, Senior Engineer, Principal Engineer).
